You Can Help

This site is for your use. The information you contribute may accelerate aid to those in need.

The federal government can't do everything for the victims of the hurricane. Private citizens and organizations are stepping in to fill the void.

Churches and organizations in the gulf region need money and materials to house, clothe and feed people seeking refuge. True to the American spirit, local churches, NGOs and individuals around the nation are willing to help.

We encourage churches and other NGOs to use this site and its bulletin board (Forum) to discuss, plan and coordinate solutions.

GIMME SHELTER!
There are still people in the region without permanent shelter after two years! Do you have a spare room, bed or couch to offer a family? Make yourself known to one of the agencies in the Directory or on other relief and recovery sites. Using agencies helps you qualify tenants and maintain safety.

Donations

We do not accept donations. Our goal is merely to plug some service gaps and to provide helpful information that may not be available elsewhere. We suggest you donate only to recognized charities or to organizations you know. Don't respond to phone or mail solicitations.
